PONT Christmas Concert
We would love to see you at the PONT Christmas Concert here at Temple at 7pm on Thursday 7 December. There'll be festive music from SoW Acapella, a primary school choir and the much-acclaimed Pontypridd Community Choir - if you missed them last time, now's your chance! Tickets £5 or £2 for children, available from Melanie.
The concert's being organised by PONT but if a few Temple people could help out with teas and cakes that would be great - please see Mel if you're available. Please also let her know if you are able to make cake to sell.
Reach out to Ponty - 9 December
Building on the 'Mission to Wales' that started in July, a group of people from across Pontypridd churches plan to go out into town on the 2nd Saturday of every month to talk and pray with people, starting on 9th December. Christmas is probably the easiest time to talk to people and we're going to combine it with singing carols and spreading some festive cheer!
We're looking for people who are happy to
v chat to people in town
v sing carols in a group
v stay at St Catherine's and pray
v just come along - you can hand out carol sheets if you want a job!
We'll meet at St Catherine's Church at 10.30 for worship and a bit of training and encouragement on how to chat to people about faith, go out into town for around an hour and head back to the church to share stories. It's best if you can come for the whole two hours from 10.30 till 12.30. Melanie Hutt
A Bridge to our Community
