11am Morning Service
Andy Sparkes will be launching our “Make Disciples” initiative with a new series in the Gospel of Mark: “Real Relationship” from Mark Ch 1.1-13
Using your Creative Gifts
Our leaders have asked if there are people in the congregation who would be willing to use any creative gifts to bring something new to the church. Any form of creative skill can be useful and if you feel you would like to participate in what would be an ongoing opportunity to 'decorate' any aspect of the building I would love to hear from you. It is proposed to meet together at some time soon to discuss ideas and I will schedule a meeting as soon as I can. In the first instance please could you speak to me. Thank you. Carol Davies
Church Matters – Dates for your Diary
There will be a baptismal service on Sunday 19 March. If you are considering Baptism, then please speak to the Elders or other LT member. There will be a church meeting on Sunday 2 April following the morning service and after consumption of packed lunches.
Our presentations of the Easter story to year 5 and year 6 schoolchildren from local schools will be happening during the week of 3 to 7 April 2017, especially Mon, Tues a Wed that week. We already have four schools booked in. This is more complex than the Nativity presentations to younger children and requires a bigger team. All sorts of help is needed and, in particular, those gifted in drama for both male and female roles are sought. If you are free and would like to take part, then please contact Wayne Adams or the church office.
One Million Voices of Hope
There are several copies of this Open Doors Petition in the carousel in the foyer. Please take one if you would like to collect some signatures, for example from your small group. You can then bring them back to the church for us to send them off (as there is no Freepost address) Thank you. Maggie Hughes
