Mission to Wales Week

Several of the Pontypridd Churches are joining together for a Mission to the town. This is part of a Wales-wide campaign organised by New Wine Cymru, based on one-to-one conversations.  There is training arranged on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 July from 10am to 2pm in St Cath's.  There are worship, praise and prayer events at St Cath’s both on Friday 7/7 at 7.30pm and Sunday 9/7 at 6pm. July 10 – 15 is the Mission week with people going out into the streets for an hour to talk with folks in the town, after a time of prayer and preparation.

Sound of Wales Children’s Event

In the first week of the summer holidays, SOW 4:14 is a TWO day creative worship event for children aged between 4 & 14 on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 July 2017 10am – 4.30pm tbc (registration 9.30am). During this day we explore worship through the creative arts; music, dance, drama and art and encourage young people to discover more of the potential God has placed within them. They learn more about His heart of deep love for them and in turn, develop a heart of love for God and for others.  Mixed with plenty of fun, games & laughs along the way, there is something for everyone!  Cost is £15 per child. Please see www.soundofwales.org.uk for more information as it becomes available and for booking.
