Alice Comissiong’s Wedding
Alice Comissiong will be getting married on Saturday 15 July to her fiancé Tobi. Many of you will have known Alice for most if not all of her life, whereas others may be more recent friends. All are welcome to go to the ceremony in All Nations Centre, Cardiff CF14 3NY at 4:45pm, please be there a bit earlier to take your seats. Light refreshments will follow. Holiday Club – Bring your kids!
The annual Graig Summer Holiday Kids Club is happening from Monday 24 to Friday 28 July. All kids connected, even loosely, with Temple are invited. There are still plenty of opportunities to get involved (creating games, preparing crafts, decorating the hall, making teas & coffees and much more). Glory Gallery Cafe, & Eden Event
July 11 to 13 will see the Glory Gallery Cafe (organised by Sound of Wales and Going Public) open daytime 10am to 5pm (all age activities, free drinks & cakes) and evenings (art & acapella, open mic, and choir & quiz) at Clwb y Bont in Pontypridd. Volunteers are invited for a number of roles in helping to run this. Please see Jess Adams. Finally 2 wheelbarrows and a mini fridge are sought for the week.
The week will culminate in the EDEN Event on Friday 14/7 with Graham Kendrick and Sound of Wales. Doors open 6:30pm, main gathering 7:30pm starting at St Catherine’s & transitioning to Temple. There is high demand for tickets, but a number are available for Temple folks at £5 each (complimentary if needed). Please see Jess Adams today for these.
Mission to Wales Week
This campaign organised by New Wine Cymru started on Thursday 6/7 and runs until Sat 15/7 in the same format, which is:- a) gather at St Catherine’s at 9.45am for a 10am start for praise and worship, prayer, some straightforward guidance; b) disperse to the streets for 60 – 90 minutes of personal evangelism in groups of 2 or 3; and c) feedback, testimonies and thanksgiving until close at 2pm. Thursday saw about 150 Christians (from Abergavenny, Bridgend, Talbot Green, Merthyr, Caerphilly, as well as Pontypridd) flood the town to engage with townspeople. 100 people made a prayer of commitment to Jesus on Thursday alone. There is a worship, praise and prayer event at St Cath’s today at 6pm.
Sound of Wales Children’s Event
SOW 4:14 is a creative worship event for children aged between 4 & 14 on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 July 2017 10am – 4.30pm (registration 9.30am). During this day we explore worship through the creative arts; music, dance, drama and art and encourage young people to discover more of the potential God has placed within them. They learn more about His heart of deep love for them and in turn, develop a heart of love for God and for others. Mixed with plenty of fun, games & laughs along the way, there is something for everyone! Cost is £15 per child. Please see www.soundofwales.org.uk for more information and for booking.

Friday 11 and Saturday 12 August 2017 will see Hiraeth, a significant Christian event, to be hosted at St Catherine’s and other venues in Pontypridd. More information will follow in future weeks.
The Glam – Music for our Young People
Temple is hosting an orchestral music course for young people, organised by The Glam during the week of 14 to 18 August 2017 with a performance at The Muni on Friday 18. This is aimed at juniors at Grade 1 to 3 standard and costs £60. More information and registration is at www.theglam.org.uk
