Tempo - Sunday 28th January 2018

This Sunday

Mark Dorey will be preaching from

Matt 22:15-22 “Being Political”

Looking to get plugged into the Bible afresh in 2018? We’re starting a Bible reading plan that is available online at www.joincbr.com  The plan aims to take readers through the entire New Testament each year and the Old Testament over 3 years by reading a chapter from each per day. A handy app is available for iOS and Android.  The full 3 year plan is available from the church office on request.

Praying for church activities

Many of you will have seen Andy Sparkes email about this.  As 2018 begins, please pray

PALS - for new workers to come forward as others step back from roles after many years of serving faithfully. Please pray also that as relationships deepen, doors would open for Gospel conversation and that people would turn to Christ.

Top Up - for this regular group of ladies who meet together to enjoy tea and coffee, as some struggle with issues of mobility.

Graig Meal  for deepening of relationships. Please pray also that those who have taken greater ownership in the group might take the next steps of faith and for those who have turned to Christ, that they will know protection and experience the fullness of life promised by Christ.

Open the Book - for the team as they visit schools, that children & teachers alike would understand God's love for them as stories are told from the Bible.

We shall print a summary of the various clubs and activities, together with these prayer points when this review is complete.
