Praying for church activities

A summary of the various church activities has been printed.  This has been prepared by the leaders of these activities and distributed by email by Andy Sparkes in recent weeks.

Please take a copy and let it inform your individual prayers and those of the prayer groups that you are members of.

Easter Cracked

The presentation of the Easter story to year 5/6 students from local primary schools will take place here in Temple from Monday 19/3 to Thursday 22/3.  This is an inspiring time for the children & teachers together with those who lead and help out with the programme.  Wayne Adams is building his team – please contact him to register an interest or for more information, particularly if you have not been involved before.

Church Meetings

The dates of our Church Members' Meetings for this year will be

18th March

24th June

21st October

We will continue to hold our meetings on Sundays following the morning service.

Lent Lunches

Pontypridd Christians Together are arranging bread and cheese lunches at various locations from 12 noon to 1.30pm on the 7 Fridays of Lent.  The suggested donation is £2.50 and all profits will be donated to Christian Aid.  There will be a Fairtrade stall at each venue.  The next two of these will be 23/2 at Castle Square, Trefforest; followed by 2/3 at St Dyfrig’s, Trefforest .

Young Quilters

On Saturday 24th Feb at Gelliwastad, The Quilters Guild will be holding a 2 hour session from 10am for youngsters aged between 5-18 who would like to come and get a  little experience with help from others who enjoy this craft.
