Tempo - Sunday 1st July 2018

This Sunday

11am Morning Service

Wayne Adams continues “Faith in a Pagan World”

with Daniel 5 – Faith and Blasphemy

Vision Focus

The church members' meeting has agreed a process to discern where God is leading our church involving times of prayer, fasting and discussion. As we pray, fast and listen to one another, we want to hear God's voice guiding us as we work towards a collaborative decision on what paid roles are needed at Temple to bring Kingdom growth.

Please see the Vision Focus document for more details of this process.

Summer Volunteers

We are planning to do some maintenance work around the church during the summer school holidays. We intend to paint the radiator housing in the side hall and do a major tidy up of all the storage areas at both churches and of the rear garden area at the Gelliwastad building.  Please see Andy or Wayne if you are able to help.

Welcome Ministry

Carol and Wayne Davies have organised the welcome rota for a number of years. They feel the time has now come for them to step down and allow someone else to take a fresh look at this important ministry. If you feel this is something you can do, have a word with Carol or Wayne or any of the Leadership Team.

Finding hope and help in a stressful world

Rebecca Manley Pippert is coming to speak at a Ladies Outreach Event on Thursday September 20th at the New House Country Hotel Thornhill, Cardiff.

Becky Pippert is an international speaker who helps Christians gain confidence and build competence in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Becky’s lively and engaging evangelism-training sessions take a fresh look at the truths we believe, and show us how these biblical truths shape our way of being and relating to the world. She wrote ‘Out of the Saltshaker’.  It’s a super event to invite Christians and non-Christians alike.

Further details and booking forms are on the EQUIP website at:- www.walesleadershipforum.org.uk

Please see Teresa Adams if you are interested.  Car sharing or booking a minibus are possible travel options.
