As we approach Easter, we start a new series: "Lent - the cross on the horizon"
This Sunday we'll be looking at "Matthew 26:6-13 - Anointed for His cross"
Sunday School and Off-the-Grid will be meeting in the sidehall/tea-room. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Special Collection on Sunday for MAF
This Sunday Matt will be sharing an update on the work of MAF.
Working in partnership with hundreds of other Christian and relief organisations, MAF enables practical help, physical healing and spiritual hope to be delivered to some of the world’s most remote and inaccessible communities.

Continuing this Sunday (week 4)
6-week café style discussion time. Over a cuppa we’ll look together at some of the big questions about the Christian faith.
If you’re not a believer bring your questions, doubts and challenges. If you are a believer in Jesus, how can we answer tough questions about what we believe?
Let’s explore together the reason for hope in Jesus.

Give thanks for a wonderful evening last Saturday and for all those who worked so hard to make it happen.

Let's pray also for Jenessa's church in Malaysia, and the prayer items she shared:
1. Give Christians courage, opportunity and wisdom to share the gospel.
2. For rest and peace, to know God is with them.
3. For young believers to find out more about the gospel and for parents to have wisdom in sharing with them.
4. Church leaders who are targeted to have courage and wisdom leading their congregations.
5. For those who have converted from other religions to know they are not alone and to find fellowship.

Continuing our new series, "Lent - the cross on the horizon", Pete will be preaching on "Mark 15:1-15 - The one who escaped His cross".
As it's the first Sunday of the month, we'll also be sharing communion together.

Intercession
- Pray for Evelynne, our intern from the US, as she serves here in Ponty
- For Verity, Tracy's mum and Phyllis' husband, following recent health issues.
- Pray for the many people whose lives have been torn apart by conflict in Gaza and Israel. Pray for those who have the power to bring peace that they may be touched by a spirit of compassion and kindness.
- For our youth and children in Sunday School, Off the Grid and PCY. Pray too for the leaders as they prepare to bring God's word each week.

- Pray for Rob Burns and Jamie Dallimore of Missional Links Wales.
- The people of Ukraine. We can support them via the website.
